What these guidelines are
We have an exciting new story to tell: there’s millions of customers out there who need Guided Customer Experiences and Glance is uniquely positioned to deliver those experiences.
To tell that story as effectively as possible, we need to tell it with one voice.
These guidelines are intended to crystallize that voice and make sure we’re all using it the right way across our website and other content.
What these guidelines aren’t
The clue is in the word: these are guidelines, not commands.
Aside from when using fundamentals like the positioning statements and [product descriptions?], while keeping these guidelines in mind you should write naturally. (In fact, writing naturally is one of our tone of voice elements!)
Remember: you don’t have to lose your voice to write in ours.
Why these guidelines matter
The most successful companies differentiate on their messaging and tone. But for differentiation to be effective, it needs to be consistent. These guidelines are here to keep you consistent – so we are, too.
